Library Service Updates for Spring 2020

In this time of uncertainty, the Library Staff want to assure you that we are available to help meet your research needs. Tell us how we can assist you and feel free to ask a Librarian for help by clicking on the chatbox on the bottom right of your computer screen.

Facilities

  • The Library will be closed until April 5 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Checking out and returning materials

  • If a student needs resources during these weeks, he or she should request resources via email (jfeagley@rpts.edu) and a member of the staff will notify the student when the requested resources are ready to be picked up. Please do not come to the Seminary directly after placing your request, but wait for the Library Staff to respond. We will let you know when and where to pick up your item(s).
  • The Library will not accept book returns throughout this temporary closure. Students and other patrons need not worry about accruing fines. Staff will be waiving all fines and extending the lending period.

Online Resources

  • Our online research portal, T.R.E.E. is filled with valuable e-resources such as databases, digital journals, e-books, repositories, and much more.

Additional Resources

  • Since the COVID-19 social limitations started last week, the global library community began to band together in mass collaboration to provide support and information for students around the world. In particular, some publishers, vendors, and other organizations are partnering together to provide FREE access to electronic resources for you!
  • Also, please keep checking that page because more resources and services will be added each day.
