Study Carrels

Eighteen study carrels are provided for the use of
patrons, who may use a carrel for study and to store books, papers, and
personal items. Current students may reserve a carrel, although, most often,
two students must be assigned to each carrel to meet the need for carrels;
every effort is made to assign two people to a carrel whose schedules are such
that they will not typically be using the carrel at the same times each week.
Any carrel that is not in use may be appropriated by others for their temporary
use. Library items left overnight on a carrel must be checked out and, if found
not to be, may be removed and reshelved. Contact Geneviève Reid to be assigned a carrel.
